Relax and unwind with the Gibson Reclina-Rocker power recliner from RC Willey. This La-Z-Boy recliner will offer you the best in comfort and quality. With independent foot and back controls, you’ll be able to find the perfect position for watching a movie, reading a book or taking a quick (or long) nap! And the canyon brown finish and casual style make this rocker recliner an easy addition to nearly any room. Springs The seat features four 8-gauge seat springs with rear helical springs and two 12-gauge cross brace wires. Dimpled rear swing anchors are used to extend the travel and ride of the springs. An insulator/stabilizer spring support system, a deck pad and a nonwoven spring cover are integrated into the seat cushion. The back uses three 11-gauge springs. Rocker spring uses La-Z-BOy’s heavy-duty 7 1/2-gauge dual spring and must pass the minimum half million cycle test. Frame The frame consists of kiln-dried hardwood, furniture grade laminates or engineered framing material, or a combination of these products. Frame joints are mortis and tenon or lap-jointed and glued; stress points are reinforced with corner blocks. Rocker recliner includes a gradle construction consisting of precision-profiled hardwood that is double-doweled, glued and reinforced with screws into the body side. Cushion The seat features La-Z-Boy’s exclusive ultra plush seat construction. The innovative seat design begins with a 3" contour cut high resilience polyurethane foam core. The chaise pad contains 3" of contour cut Ultra Flex polyurethane foam and extends from the rear of the seat to the top of the legrest. The back pillow contains an inner bag with three channels, each filled with blown fiber. The footrest contains a 1/2" contour cut polyurethane foam core and the chaise pad for the chaise legrest contains 3" of contour cut Ultra Flex polyurethane foam. The seat chaise pad and the legrest chaise pad are separate but appear as one piece. Mechanism La-Z-Boy mechanical parts are tested to surpass 100,000 cycles, which equals 50 years of normal use. Each Reclina-Rocker features customized reclining comfort which accommodates the size and weight of each user with the turn of a special, easy-to-reach wing-nut. Mechanisms are engineered and manufactured in-house by La-Z-Boy. Electronics The power recline mechanism uses a single 24-volt DC motor to quickly and smoothly operate each reclining unit. A convenient power touch button controls the legrest and back motion, allowing the user to stop when a comfortable position is reached. The power units include a new breakaway legrest safety feature. If the legrest encounters an obstruction while closing the legress will disengage, or breakaway, from the mechanism. Simply push the legrest closed with your legs to reconnect the legrest to the mechanism. The power recline transformer has a battery backup hidden underneath. Two 9-volt batteries will return the unit from a fully reclined position to an upright seated position with a single occupant, not to exceed 300 pounds. The no-oil rivet mechanism design provides smooth, quiet and maintenance free operation.
